New Member, 1965 Overlander

Hello All!

Today our first airstream, a 1965 Overlander International, is on a flatbed starting its 2300 KM (1400 mile) journey from Ottawa to Winnipeg. It should arrive just in time to put it away before it snows. Now we have the whole winter to dream up plans (and save up $$!!) to get it ready for camping season! Lots of great knowledge and advice here, it has been very helpful so far. Thanks!

Welcome! So now you have a bit of a wait - time to dream! From the pics, it looks to be in great shape. Good luck and be sure to give us an update when it arrives.

Welcome to the forums. Winter is a great time to get inside and do projects on your new Airstream. I have a list of things to do on Chummy this winter.

Thanks for the welcome!

The trailer survived the journey, and it arrived in Winnipeg yesterday morning. Other than being covered in ice from the trip, it travelled well. Now only 6 months to go until it warms up enough to think about camping again. Here are some pictures of the arrival.

So, AS65 welcome to the forums and all. Hope you have somewhere to work on the new one this winter. Otherwise you're going to be hurtin' by early February.
I like your avitar... are you a flyboy? We've got quite a few here.
We've also got quite a few Canadians here too. Most are north of the border, at least one (me) lives on the south side.
I'm actually headed to Toronto on Thursday.
Good luck with your new to you Airstream.

I know how exciting it is to have a vintage Air Stream delivered to you. You will have so much fun. Come on south and use it now.
