We are new Airstream owners, my husband is 79 and I am 65. We are going out into the world to visit family and friends when I retire next April. We own a 99 Safari 27" and are pulling it with a 3/4 ton Tundra. My husband was a truck driver for over 40 years before he retired so he he has some experience driving. I don't. Guess I'll learn. We live in Florida now but may locate in time. We arte so far very pleased with our trailer and eager to get moving.

Have a 1978 24ft Argosy that I pull with my Tundra. It is a dream to pull and I've had no trouble. Of course I can't back it, but that's what the men are for. Going forward I'm unbeatable. My husband and I dream of retiring and just driving around the country with "The Big Twinkie", but not just yet. You are the envy of lots of folks here on the forum. Good luck in your travels.

Wow that is a long haul 79 & 65 I bet you so so so deserve your retirement.

There is something wrong with our society - These figures have to be lower - life is too short - lets get busy and enjoy while we can. We are shooting for 55!!!!!

Have a great time - and you will meet so many nice people along the way.

If not members of WBCCI I would seriously check into it - if nothing else - to get the directory to look up people on your travels - and those big red numbers on the front sure do make life easier when you don't know a sole out there.

Not such a big scary place when you have a network of 1000's of people across North America.

so let Peter and I be the first to extend you an invitation - if you should be looking at traveling next summer up Ontario Way - we are a great stop in between Toronto and Ottawa.
