Hello fellow Airstreamers!

I am new to the Airstream world, I just purchased a 16' Bambi Sport. Quite a step up from my backpacking tent!

I need to have breaks installed on my Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Does anyone have suggestions on the type and brand to get. This is all new to me.

I appreciate any feedback!

Thank You,
petede3

Brake Controller?

I'm not sure but I think you may mean you need a brake controller for the trailer brakes. I had to install one for my truck and got a Prodigy 2 from etrialer: http://www.etrailer.com/Brake-Contro...sha/90885.html
They are responsive, have plenty of information and helpful videos as well.

They will probably have a cable harness that connects the Prodigy to your vehicle. Here's an example: https://www.etrailer.com/question-150172.html That makes installation a breeze.

Hope that helps. Welcome to the forum. You live in a beautiful area of Florida.
Safe Travels!

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

First off, welcome to the Forums, we're glad to have you with us.

As to your question, I am assuming that you are referring to a trailer brake controller to be installed in your tow vehicle. I have been using Tekonsha Brake Controllers for eleven years now. We have had both a Prodigy and a P3. Both are excellent units.
