New in Town

This month is the first anniversary of owning our first Airstream. I thought it was time to put it in gear and join the forum and quit lurking as a guest. Last year we were heading home from the Tahoe area and got to talking about Airstreams. We had a SOB trailer for about 6 years and it was starting to show its age already. Since a dealer was on the way home we stopped in. Short story, they had one that grabbed us, and the following week it followed us home.

Since then we've been the Albuquerque Balloon Fest, cross country to Jackson Center and Eaton Rapids Urban Air, five nights of boondocking in remote part of National Forest for the Solar Eclipse, Pasadena Rose Parade and several other trips. I'm much more confident towing the AS than my old SOB.

While I didn't see this forum before I bought the AS, in the past year I have learned a lot from you folks and for that I thank you.

Welcome to the forum. We passed through Byron on our way home last week from a ralley with the Golden West and Greater Bay Airstream groups. Sounds like we were at the ABF with you. Too bad we did not cross paths, but there were a lot of shiny trailers on the lot. Hope to meet you down the road some day. Pat

Hello and welcome from Colorado: Glad you decided to participate in Air Forums and share your Airstream experiences. Wow, going to the International already. It's on my list, but I can't do it this year. Some day.
