New here and thrilled to be among you!
After nearly a year of dreaming, discussion and decision-making (and equal time lurking on this forum), my husband and I are in the process of buying a brand-spanking new 2010 27' FB Flying Cloud. We're excited and more than a little anxious about this new "hobby" and look forward to our first and future adventures in our new aluminum baby.
I'm going to say thanks in advance for sharing your expertise as I know we'll be reaching out to this wonderful community with more than a few questions. And hopefully, one day we'll have some of our own to share! Meanwhile, we're happy to be among friends who understand the thrill of silver!

Welcome to the group, with an Airstream you never camp alone, you belong to the big club " Airstream owner", but explore all the fun you can have taking part in rallies, WBCCI, forum or TAC. Try them all and I'm sure you'll find that you will have more fun then you ever expected with your hobby (Airstreaming). Sometimes we even go camping all by ourselves, that's fun too.

Congratulations on your new Airstream! You are going to LOVE it!
NOW we gotta get you to Four Corners Unit (WBCCI) rally to show it off to us! ... Like the Quartzsite Thanksgiving Boon Docking Rally ... or the Picacho Peak New Year's Rally ... They are different rallies for sure, but both are close and both are a ton of fun!

If you have a question, usually someone will answer it here within the day or hour. Then someone else will tell you another answer too!
