new guys looking
I am so ready to find my airstream. We have been looking for a few months, we have a 28'Puma now, selling it. We have wanted the airstream for quite a while, and figure now or never. I am a vintage guy, i rebuild old cars and antique fans. We want an older one, pre 80 or so, I have looked at the sovergn. little too big, but the excella is great. Something under 30 ft, preferably with work already done to it,. There is nothing I cant repair or remodel, been doing it for 40 years, but with an old rv it would be nice to have some upgrades, good electrical, good ac and heat, .etc. I had a 2000 Fleetwood motor home, and was a member of their forum for the years we had it, I learned how to do a lot of rv stuff. Some I liked,some i did not. i dont want to gut one of these and start completely over, just help me find one that somebody has had for a while, just ready to sell to a new home. The Bounder i bought was from a member of their forum, he just got to old and ill to use it, He gave me a great deal on the coach, knowing i would take care of it. I passed on the deal just the same as he did for me , to another member of their group. I am looking forward to meeting some of you, and looking forward to having the silver dream.. My tow truck is already silver..Richard Collier
