New guy with a 1995 LY Gaser P30
Hi,
How you all doing. I have learned alot by just reading the forms here for the last 3 years I have owned my 95 LY but now I like some advise or some guidance. Long story short I was coming out of the Mountains the other day and lost my air pressure to my air suspension. Well I traced the leak back to my right rear air shock. For some reason there's a leak in the rubber boot or bellow I guess is what there called. I figure If I need to replace the one I might as well do them both. I was crawling around underneath there checking things out and was wondering if any of you guys have had to replace the rear air shocks and if you have any pointers. I am fairly mechanically inclined and also have some buds that could give me a hand if needed. Is this a job that can be done on my RV pad or is this a job that I'll need to take in to the shop along with my my arm and a leg.
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. I can't help with any advice on the shocks, but there are other members here with that kind of expertise.
