New Guy - safari 20

Hello: I am a new guy here. I purchased a new Safari 20' this year and am anxious to get on the road. I joined the Long Beach Chapter of WBCCI. I signed up for a rally but then had some unexpected surgery on my foot. I picked up that antibiotic resistant staff infection and lost a toe before I even knew I had a problem. Now I am ready to go.

One question, where do I buy the flag stand that I see goes under the trailer front-end stanchion.

Thanks

More questions will inevitably follow

The most common holders are from Pole Ease, 6501 Wolf Lake Road, Jackson, MI 49201. 517-536-8022. Email swest9751@yahoo.com. They come in 2,3,4, and 5 pole models. WBCCI has a particular order for displaying flags at rallies, if you care. I fly mine with the Stars and Stripes front and center. Welcome to the fray. Good luck on the foot.

Hi CB and as a fellow 'r let me welcome aboard.

Life is short so rally often. Join us for a CalStreamers rally. These forum rallies are a bit less regimented than most WBCCI soiree's but an absolute blast.

See you around the campfire.

Hi CB and Welcome Aboard !

Sorry to hear about your "loss". But life goes on! You just missed a great fall Rally we had at KernVille/Lake Isabella. Who knows, you could have been a contender!

As you may or may not know, we have a Winter Rally coming up in Temecula (down the road), in January. Check out the Rally section under California Streamers Winter Rally.

You'll have a great time and meet new friends and get a lot of your questions answered. As you may or may not have noticed, I'm just down the road from you and so are several other fellow streamers.

As for items that you need, don't forget Camping World which is just down the road in La Mesa, CA. off the 91/5.

Well, that's enough of my 2 cents. Once again, Welcome to the wacky world of Airstreaming..... There's NO TURNING BACK NOW !!! Hahahahahahahaha

Hi CB,

Congratulations on the 20' Safari! We purchased a 2008 20' Safari SE about a month ago. We also joined WBCCI (South Coast unit). We haven't been to a rally yet, but plan to attend one in January. We have been on two trips with our Safari: 275 miles to Nevada and 95 miles to San Diego.

Jeff

I must be that southern California is fast becoming the 20' Safari SE capital! There are two others that I know of just within a two block radius of my house. Practically a sub-club

Cheers,
-jd.
