Hello, just found this site after doing a Google search about the Airstream.
A little about myself: I live in Akaska, near the town of Wasilla and about 50 road miles from the big city of Anchorage. I’ve been here for 43 years but we will be moving south somewhere in about a year, not sure where yet, east maybe to be a little closer to the new granddaughter, it’s the first one.
We have always had some type of camper, we have right now a
1963 GMC converted bus that I did all the work myself, just sold a truck camper that we used for short trips, we have had travel trailers too.
My hobbies are:
Ham radio, NL7TZ is my call sign and my wife is KL7TZ, I first got my license in 1990, made lots of friends over the years and its lots of fun. I would never drive the Alcan without ham radio in the truck.
Wood working is another pass time I like; spend a lot of time out in the shop during the long, cold, dark winter
Well here is why I joined; it looks like a fun site but I’ll have to get an Airstream to know more about them but I need some help.
I will post a question about the axles and maybe I can get some help.
Thanks
Tom, NL7TZ
