New Guy - floor issues

Hello, I am the new owner of a 1957, 21 foot something. I am not sure what it is but it is in fairly decent shape. The floor around the door has some problems, does anyone know if that will be a big problem or not?

How about a photo, and/or a serial number?

Guessing at a year and asking for repair help can be misleading.

Once the year is known, then you can find out "exactly" what to do, for most any kind of repair to any Airstream, every made.

Andy

BTW, welcome to the forums. You can find out how to make virtually any repair here on the airforums.com. The search button on the blue bar above will be your most valuable first step in finding the information you need. As Andy said, a picture speaks a thousand words and will go far in helping get the information you need if you can't locate it through the search function.

Again, welcome to the forums and Happy New Year!

AS you work on your trailer find out what caused that problem in the first place, ie: if it is rooted, find out how it got wet in the first place and make sure water isn't still getting. If it is, then you have yourself another project and the fun continues. Fortunately, Inland RV can hook you up with practically anything you'll be needing.
