New full-timer in AZ

Hi to all the streamers and dreamers out there! I am a relatively new Airstream owner; I bought my first rig (2021 16ft Basecamp X) in 2020 and after extended weekend and weekday trips, I realized that's essentially how I wanted to live my daily life! I made the decision (after TONS of deliberation....and an email from AS advertising the Pottery Barn SE) to pull the trigger and as of 5 weeks ago, I have been living full-time in my new 2022 PB, aptly named Yolo. It was tough to sell the Basecamp but I knew I needed more space for myself and my best friend, Newman (a big 5 year old pit/lab mix). The Pottery Barn has been AMAZING thus far. I live at an elevation of 7000 feet with crazy cold weather and winters and so far, so good! (I made sure to add heating pads to the tanks, got airskirts, insulated my exposed pipes, etc.,.)
At some point, I plan on wandering around the US on a permanent basis and so I wanted to introduce myself and say hello!

Greetings from Colorado: Congratulations on your decision as many folks would like to do the same thing. We are in the snowy winter months here and trying to keep warm in an Airstream would be hard where we live. It sounds like you prepared for the winter months well, and I hope everything is working okay for you. You can meet many other full time Airstreamers here on these Forums.

Hi David! Thank you! Yes, I definitely did some research to prepare for cold weather living. I've heard a lot of things about how AS trailers are not really four-season but I disagree. And I definitely look forward to meeting folks here in the forum as well as in person at a rally or something sometime in the near future!
