New from Muscle Shoals AL

Hello,

Been wanting an RV for the past 10yrs but just didn't like anything I saw other than the AS. Been looking the past yr and found what looks like nice 2005 30' Classic. Look it over and pick it up in about a week and can't wait. Already looking at LEDs, winterizing, etc... I love to tinker and will more than likely drie the wife nuts but at least I'll have a AS doghouse to go to ; ). Looking fwd to reading more and more on this site. I welcome any tips and pointers.

Welcome to the world of everything Airstream. Come to a rally soon and meet a bunch of other folks who tinker on these things also.

Welcome,

Home of the Swampers! Glad to have you with us. Post some pictures of the new rig when you are able.

I have a long list of items to check to include: all main systems operating on gas and electric, moisture meter, outlet meter, plumbing pressure for leaks and operation, etc. only thing I wont be able to verify is flushing the black tank since it's at a residence. I will crawl under, over, etc. Any thing special to look for on an AS?

Yes sir. A lot of great music here. Nice RV park on the TN River which is where we will take the first few trips making sure we have most items.
