New from MS and Looking for Small Classic Airstream
Hi! We're new to RV's, but looking for a small classic Airstream to park at our mule barn for weekend overnights. Looking forward to learning about Airstreams and RV's in general from all of you!

Welcome! My experience out here in the west is that the small ones have become rare, compared to only 5 years ago. I don't think they are vaporizing, but it's like socks. Where does that other one go if it's not vaporizing? If you're just going to park it, seems to me a 27' or 31' trailer would be fine and you wouldn't have issues with hauling it around!

Welcome fellow Mississippian
Welcome to the forum. You will have a hard time finding one in Mississippi, we looked for months. We found ours here under the classified section, but we had to drive to Ill. to pick it up. The smaller ones are hard to come by and kinda pricey when you do find one. Good look on the search and when you do find one a whole lot of info here to help.

Pardon the new take on an old cliche....
More room will definitely be appreciated; since it sounds like you won't be towing it....
This is a case of "more will cost you actually less"

Welcome
We live in MS too. My wife and I are on the Gulf Coast. We have a 66 Caravel which is a 16 footer. We had to drive to IN to get her 3 months ago and are planning our first trip in 6 weeks to Disney. Good luck in finding your own AS, they are fun to have.

I spottted a small older (pre 70?) in Eupora on old Hwy 82 (about 120 Miles north of Jackson) last week... if I get back over there I will check it out more! But looked like it was in real good condition from the road.
Looks like Mississippi is getting several airstreamers on here Do we have a state club or anything?

Hi Betty ~
You bet folks would be interested in them. Any ideas of what models, lengths, condition, etc.? If you posted a phone number, I'm sure folks would appreciate it. folks are always looking for vintage units.
