We've (wife and I) have just been introduced to this forum by a son/daughter-in-law who are awaiting delivery of their own brand new Airstream. We've been 'Streaming for several years now, both in a 1976 27' model we updated and now a 2004 30' Classic LTD. Just returned from the WBCCI Pendleton Round-Up rally, a real winner of a trip. After the rally, we took a side trip into the Eagle Cap Wilderness, where we'd taken the '76 several times. The Classic disliked the wilderness experience-- it's too long and not as high off the ground as the vintage, so doesn't handle poorly maintained roads well. We're now in the process of replacing the hickory facing on the refrigerator and figuring out how to stabilize the shower door, which also shook off. Any suggestions? Looking forward to meeting with y'all. Jim and Nancy, St. Helens, OR
