Ciao! we're a couple, Lu and Clo, dreaming Airstream's World. In Italy is difficult to find out something about it, so we're going to Hamburg, Germany, to get one imported empty shell, moving into our garden for housing and funny, next to the river of Lake of Garda. And then, why not, working on a club like yours! What do you think about it? 'Bye now hoping in nice American friends!

Hi Phonix! i'm very happy for your message! i'm dreaming my Airstream in my garden, right here! This is my house, ten minutes to the lake by foot

Will the Airstream shell be permanently parked in your garden like a guest house? Or, do you plan to use it as a portable trailer home to take with you when traveling on holiday?

Also, if you import an empty shell, how do you plan to finish and decorate the inside? Do you have plans that you can share? Are you doing something that you have seen others do in Italy?

Sorry for all of the questions, but we are unfamiliar with the use of travel trailers in Europe, and especially Italy. I personally thought that large American-style tow vehicles (TV) like pickup trucks were rare in Europe, because of expensive fuel costs and narrow roads that were unsuited for travel trailers. Therefore, I thought that Airstreams and other travel trailers were very uncommon.

Have you visited the USA? How did you learn about Airstreams?

Your home is beautiful. We would like to see photos of the lake and nearby town, too.

i know what you say...but i like challenges and this is one! i think, first of all get one AS and then, step by step, built up your freedom dreaming! i'm 53 years old, hoping in a trip in the USA before...90!! Italy is a beautiful country but not only the streets are narrow, i'm afraid so... i attach a view of my lake, i love it
