New Canadian - '73 Safari

Greetings, I am new to the forums, and made a couple of posts before realizing I had not said Hello...

My name is George and I live in central Nova Scotia, Canada, and own a 1973 Safari Land Yacht 23' rear bath, twin BR.

Tow vehicle is a Ford Flex, before that a 2004 Nissan Quest, before that a 2003 Honda Odyssey, before that an '84 Olds '98. All have been great, but I think I like the Flex the best so far.

The AS has been a great trailer for us although our 4 kids have now outgrown it so we use a tent alongside. My father owned this trailer from 1982 to 1996 and I have been the owner since then. It is in very good shape for its age, but I am thinking of doing some restoring when the weather cools down.. all original of course.

Looking forward to the forum, and have already learned a lot from everyone here.

Talk to you soon.
George

PS We are baldies (not WBCCI) - I hope this is ok on the forums?

Hello and welcome to airforums.com, George!

You live in one beeYOOteeful part of the world. We visited the Maritimes in '06 and swore we would be back for more soon.

That's nice having heritage in your trailer. I'm only the second owner of ours, but it sure would have been nice to have had it growing up as a youngster.

The WBCCI has a forum to discuss their issues, and that's all I will say about that, except to point out that there is no need to be a member of any club to be a full member of Airforums.

Now, where are the photos of your rig!? Hehehe.. We need photos!
