New AS Forum Members from Louisiana
Hello to all,
We are old time campers who are just getting back into the camping scene after a 10 year lapse. Kids are all out of the house and we are looking towards retirement in 3 or 4 years. Last December, we treated ourselves to a new 31' 2008 Classic Limited. After years of tents, pop-ups and finally a full size trailer with bunks, my wife and I now have a trailer just for US!!!!! I have to say, we have been amazed at the quality inside. Our first few nights of camping were spent getting use to how everything worked and thinking "we are not use to this standard of trailer"!! We are enjoying the use of our new trailer as much as time will allow. Lake Charles, Louisiana is home for us. But we expect the AS to provide us much shelter as one day we hope to see all parts of this great country. Thanks for all of your post. I have learned a great deal through each and every one. Welcome! Louisiana is one of our favorite states, and a group of we midwesterners are heading down there next spring. Travel safe and will look for you on the road.

Welcome to the AS world being spoiled. It was the same way when we got our rig. Its a big step from tent camping. Enjoy and be safe traveling about.
