New Argosy Renovation in Houston, TX

Just want to say Hi to the forum. I recently purchased a 1976 Argosy 24 foot trailer and towed it back from Louisiana.

I am looking forward to a complete renovation and i have the interior stripped down almost to the walls.

The sub-floor will need replaced and I am looking forward to interacting with people that have done a complete body-lift renovation of a similar trailer.

I am already having a blast working on the trailer, but I would be lying if I said I haven't had a conversation or two with myself about whether or not this is a good idea or a bad idea...lol.

Feel free to say "Hello" especially if you are in the Houston area!

I look forward to meeting all of you online or on the road!

Will

PS- I have taken care of the removal of many parts from this trailer that I won't be using so if there are any people out there that need original 1976 Argosy parts for restoration purposes please let me know... I hope this isn't against the forum rules ( I will read them now... )

Congratulations and welcome! I brought home an unloved Argosy 26 home a year ago. It has been fun restoring it and modifying things to my liking. Enjoy! This is an awesome forum!

We are doing the same with our 28'. We got the shell back on before the snow fell and hope to have some warm weather so we can complete the interior. Good luck!

Are you gutting the entire interior? I might be interested in some parts depending on what you have... You should post some more pics of the interior up when you get a chance... Welcome to the forums!
