Question New Airstreamer To Be

I just agreed to buy a 1968 Airstream International. Any sage advice to a new owner-to-be? I will bring it to Little Rock, Arkansas.

Welcome aboard!
Keep your tires inflated, and your bearings packed. Oh, and make sure your main door is locked prior to towing (the voice of experience here).

Make sure the refrigerator door is locked too, the voice of experience also. Welcome to the Tinker Toy Club...

Hello Joe Bell from a novice airstreamer here in Little Rock! This is my first post and just had to say "hey neighbor!" I've just aquired a '63 Globetrotter in November and spent this past weekend in the demolition/exploration phase. I'm going to be asking a lot of questions to the forum since I'm starting basically with an intact shell. Hope to visit with you again soon. mja
