New airstreamer

Hello everyone. I have a 1968 landyacht in really great condition. It needs updating and I'm also having refridgerator problems. I'll be looking to everyone for assistance as I start these projects.

Welcome. Which model do you have? Land Yacht is the trim level. The model can be Trade Wind, Globe Trotter, Safari, Overlander, etc. The model names usually indicate the coach length. May I be the 2nd to ask for pictures. WE love pictures.

Welcome aboard!
What issues are you having with your fridge? If it is an amonia firge, they tend to clog up if sitting too long or operated when not level. That does not mean they once out stay out. I've read everything from tapping the coils lightly with a rubber mallet to pulling them and setting inverted for a period of time. I followed a TT repair guide with one of my old units and sure enough it started working fine once I got the gas working. Have not got around to checking my current rig yet..but soon

Welcome Aboard~

Airzida, You will find that the '66, '67 and '68 trailers are the most sought after coaches. They are awesome! If you need any glass there are now two sources available VintageTrailerSupply.com and InlandRV.com! Let us know how we can help with any questions... Happy Trails, Ed
