Howdy all,

O.K. We are jumping in head first. We just picked up our 31' Sovereign and I'm already ripping out carpet. I'm the kind of guy who loves to tear stuff apart but takes forever to put stuff back together. Hopefully this project will change all that. I look forward to talking with you all. I have A LOT of questions.

Hello 7th -- and welcome to the forums! Our 6-greats grandfather moved to Coldspring after losing sons/brothers in the Ft. Mims massacre of 1813 in Alabama (War of 1812). I am named after him. He was re-interred to the state cemetery in Austin on the 100th anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto. Had I not married a yankee I would claim 7th generation too. Though I'm not putting on a hang-dog look ...

7th, when logged in you can go into your User CP (control panel) on the overhead blue toolbar. Along the left edge you can select 'Edit your details' and add your trailer year/type in the Trailer #1 category. Click my username in this post if you want to message with any questions.

Use a small digital camera to take before, during and after pics of all the little tasks you'll be doing. Keep them in one folder on your computer. You'll find many happy reminders when you're putting it back together.

I'm aware of a few other A/S owners around town here. I've seen a few other trailers in storage facilities. There's a renovation going on out around Ingleside; do a search.
