New Airstream Owner (Almost)

After looking at every type of RV and camper for several years, we finally placed an order for a 28 Serenity this week. Now the waiting begins.
I am a life-long boater (22' Chaparral), and had an entry level 24' travel trailer for 10 years when the kids were growing up. Kids have graduated and are now out on their own, so looking at the next phase of life. Most of the time it will be just the two of us and two cats.
Looking forward to participating here.

Hello from Colorado: You ordered one of the best. You have some RV experience, and certainly boating. The Airstream is a high end travel trailer in my view. It will last a very long time.

Jump right into these Forums and learn all about your new Airstream. Maybe you can travel to the factory and watch it being assembled. Some folks like doing this. It is very interesting.

I like the old vintage Airstreams myself. I guess because I'm old too. I enjoy renovating these old trailers.

The Airstream factory would welcome you on plant tours so you can see your beauty being assembled. Some folks like to do this. I was at Jackson Center for body repairs and went on the tour a couple of times. There was a couple there watching their new Classic being assembled. It was much fun for them.

Just a thought...
