New Airstream 2017 Owners !

Hello everyone, We just bought an Airstream 2017 Coach, 3500 ext. Have talked about buying an RV for years but just didn't think we could handle the "big ones." So, about a month ago, a friend or my husbands visited us and he was driving what looked to me like a big SUV or Van. We were amazed when we saw the inside of it ! At only 24 feet, has everything we need and it is something we could easily handle driving. So we went out just to see what some of these Class B's look like at different RV dealers. The first one we walked into had this Airstream. Perfect condition with only 6,000 miles ! After several rounds of price negotiation we bought it !
Of course, it would have been better if it was spring or summer so we have spent some anxious nights worrying about freezing - but so far, all is well.
Since we know NOTHING about RV's it has / IS a steep learning curve. Thank God for this Forum and the kind people who have responded to our dumb questions. Taking our first short excursion up to Virginia to see the kids this weekend. Looking forward to many more fun trips.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. Congratulations on your new baby. May you have safe travels and many great Airstream Adventures with her. This RVing thing does have a learning curve, but it's not launching rockets. The folks here on AirForums can help you with any information that you need.

Brian
