New 2022 Interstate 24 GL owner

Almost, anyway. I am supposed to pick up a 2022 Interstate 24GL in Tampa Thursday (June 30). Mama aka Zsa-Zsa, ordered it, so it has every option except 4WD (was not currently available with adaptive cruise, which was very high on my wish list). It does have the Tommy Bahama package, jacks and the front seat bed. I have the CAT scale app on my phone and will be interested to see what it actually weighs. That's another reason not too disappointed by the lack of 4WD - no plans to really go offroad with it, and with jacks and 4WD, she'd be heavy.
I am a big fan of forums. In 2004 I joined CAFCNA, and learned how to install an aux. port for an iPod in line with the satellite radio input on my '04 Avalanche. On the Interstate, I did not opt for the dealer installed wifi, but plan to DIY it with the forums help - and a lot more hopefully. Thank you!

Our van does have adaptive cruise. It's not my favorite approach to "the problem". It's on all the time. I'd prefer a system you could turn on and off.

So I flew down Thursday to pick it up and on the way from the airport to the dealer (Airstream of Tampa) was informed that it was at the Mercedes dealership. Apparently, when they filled it up with diesel fuel, some leaked out of the top of the tank. I was not happy. After some animated discussion, they put us up in a nearby hotel. To their credit, they got the rig to the dealer, fixed, and returned in about 6 hours. Still picked it up the next day. I have the work order from MB and photos of the problem. The sending unit wire was pinched against an o ring seal. Photo attached.

Picked it up and drove it 650 miles home. No problems, rides great. Adaptive cruise works great. Let the modding begin - I think hardwired EMS is first.
