My Introduction

I am emsteele's other half of the marriage team. She is having a great time on the forums, so I decided to join her. I am a freelance writer and have published two articles in Trailer Life, June 2005 and June 2006, both do-it-your self projects involving our Airstream. We are doing some more upgrades to our 28ft Excella and will be posting in the other Forum Threads looking for advice and returning the favor when I can.

Welcome! What do you use to pull the 28 ft. Excella? Presently looking at the same model to buy (first time buyer). We have a V8 Tundra which I believe will be fine. Again welcome to the forum.

Hi,

I use a GMC 2500 HD, with diesel engine and Allison Transmission. The best pulling rig ever! We tried pulling our Excella with a Lincoln Navigator but the transmission engine combination were a poor choice. I hope this helps.
