Mothers Airstream Dream

Hello All. My name is Michael, and I am not the owner, but the son in law of a '84 AIrstream Owner. My Mother in law is not a computer person, so I am here in Her stead, and need some advice and help. She recently aquired her Airstream after a close friend passed, and bequeathed Her the Trailer, which I believe is a 31' which She has placed in a semi permanant park. What Our queary is currently, is to find parts to repair a few of the sliding cabinet doors in the living area of the trailer, under the window where she keps the VCR and DVD players. Neither of Us know just where to look for parts and accessories for repair or remodeling a Airstream, and wonder if any other Owners know where to look online, or in the Springfield Missouri area. Thanks ahead for any help, and hope to hear from someone soon.

First of all, welcome to the forums.

Check out Colaws RV salvage in Carthage off of I-44. THey have lots of airstreams on their lot that you can find parts from.

Being at Fort Leonard Wood you are rather close by. Also, this fall there will be an airstream rally at Compton Ridge in Branson. Perhaps you can talk to people there if you haven't found what you seek by then.
