Minnesota dreamer

I've been trailering for a while, but now that I'm getting close to retirement I'm looking for alternatives. An Airstream--and a membership in an Airstream park--looks really intriguing.
I presently own a stick house, and work as a tech writer, although I spent many years freelancing for all sorts of magazines and newspapers. When I go on SS, I'll keep writing.
So I guess I'm shopping for a good trailer and a reliable tow vehicle, while I learn about life in the slow lane.

You are in luck. We have an Airstream Park just east of St Cloud, and I'll bet there is at least one rig and lot for sale up there. We also have a WBCCI club active here in Minesooooota as well.

AIRSTREAM_HOME-PAGE

On this link you will find the club web site and links to the Airstream Park as well.

PS. They also have their own golf course.

I would be glad to answer any questions about the Airstream Park. I currently am a share holder at the park. Our website is Minnesota Airstream Park Take a look and give call.

Hello, Pete

I'm planning to come up this weekend to take a look around. I thought I'd camp somewhere nearby (we have a tent) for the weekend. I have been corresponding with David Piehl; he's been a lot of help and a great source of information.
I'm an old trailerist, but my '86 van is too tired for a larger AS, so I'll have to get a tow vehicle, trailer, and a space.
Do the folks there leave their AS onsite, or do they all tow 'em off in the winter?
Thanks.

If you look at their web site you will see several rigs and lots for sale. Just what you're looking for. They would probably let you camp right in the park if you're looking. Check with them.
