Looking forward to adventures in an AS “tiny house”!
The two of us are new to TTs and less than a month from taking delivery of our new Flying Cloud 23CB! We have spent years dreaming, researching, and visiting dealers & RV shows. Last few months been trying to absorb the wonderful information from the Airforums, You Tube videos, and the Internet – technology is great. Yes, it was very overwhelming at first and now only bit less! I am sure we will have questions. Current plan is to spend the night at the dealer and few nights at a nearby campground.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. Congratulations on your new baby. May you have safe travels and many great Airstream Adventures with her.
You're going to have a great time. Don't let this RV thing scare you. There is a learning curve, but it's not launching rockets.
Take your time and check everything twice. When you are at a campground, any RVer will be more than happy to help you. Just ask. Remember that an Airstream is not different from any other RV when it comes to its operational systems.
On another note, are you Moose aficionados? As your screen name is Alces2, and the Moose species is Alces Alces, I was curious.
Brian

Hello from Colorado: Welcome to the Airstream community and these Air Forums. There are plenty of folks willing to answer any questions you may have. Everyone here was new to Airstream travel at one time.
You bought a very nice trailer indeed. Easy to tow and handle, and very comfortable. You live in a beautiful state. You could spend all summer visiting many of the state parks and the like.
I wonder what a moose aficionado is? You know, I've never seen one in the wild. Maybe now that I moved to Colorado I will get my chance. Maybe an aficionado has a moose costume so they can sneak up on the critters.
Moosetags is also an Airstream aficionado. They have traveled the country in theirs. We are traveling in ours now chasing the desert blooms in the southwest. No moose here.

Thank you all for the welcome!
Brian,
Yes we are moose aficionados and Alces2 was chosen for the species name. In fact we are naming the trailer, Moose Lodge. We enjoy visiting National Parks, State Parks, National Forests, etc. as well as new cities small and large. Last summer we were lucky enough to see a moose from afar at Glacier. I have only seen one other as a youngster, but my spouse was lucky enough to see more on Isle Royal though he cannot be sure how many were actually the same moose!
David,
Yes we thought we would start "small" at first. We actually started our search with the basecamp and quickly moved to larger models. Decision on size and model is tough as each offers something different! We visited the factory to see ours being built and saw a few 34' AS trailers there - very distinctive. beautiful model with the triple axels. Colorado is a great state - we look forward to revisiting there. I really loved Mesa Verde. Hope you get to spot your first moose there.
GMFL,
Must confess we have been reading the 23D forum threads as guests. I am sure we will be asking more questions as we travel this exciting adventure.
