Looking for input on desirable parts not currently produced

Hello all, I am in the midst of doing a shell off restoration on a 1971 Safari in need of ALOT of work. I own a small fabrication shop in Southern Jersey and was wondering if there is a market or desire for any parts that are not currently produced. I have been on the hunt for a niche market to get into and would love to get into some manufacturing production work, especially while I have a fully opened up airstream I can use as a template.

I was looking at what it costs to buy a factory center support and I am blown away at the cost! I’m wondering if people are actually buying these as I can manufacture comparable supports at a much cheaper price point. A product I’ve noticed mentioned in some of the threads I’ve been reading through suggest there may be a market for a bolt in conversion kit for old style door handles? Any suggestions or personal experience being unable to find a product you wish you could have had during a repair/rebuild would be incredibly helpful in determining whether there is any help I can be to any fellow airstream owners.

Here is a photo of my Safari when I first brought it back from the mountains of West Virginia

I have a ‘76 TradeWind with three ceiling vents, two of which have/had electric exhaust fans. I am confident that I can get the fans to work, however the original plastic shroud—which I believe to be critical to the proper functioning of the fan—has deteriorated beyond salvaging. The shroud itself seems not to be reproduced currently and I have been unable to find a useable one. The original is brittle plastic, likely not constructed to last 40+ years. I did see somewhere that someone did fabricate one, maybe out of aluminum, but I am not aware that he is producing these.
Without looking, I am uncertain whether I still have the old, unusable part, however I’d guess that your ‘71 may have the same model vent/fan combination.
Yes, I know that others have scrapped the original setup and retrofitted a Fantastic Fan, but I don’t want to do that.
Below is a photo of the desired part, #19.
I may have interest if this part is reproduced. Thanks.
