Long time lurking, jumping in with ‘14 EB 27FB

We’ve been looking to shift from expedition trailer camping into more comfortable outdoor experience, wife got tired of cold showers and PETT toilets. We have burned many days wandering thru RV shows, debating going all-in with a 5th wheel Solitude that would push the limits of our TV (‘15 Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 crewcab) or truck camper.

This past summer we used RVshare to rent a ‘15 International Serenity 27FB, lived in for 10 days as we travelled from Denver-Spokane-Yellowstone-Mt Rushmore-Denver and the experience sealed the deal for us. We are jumping into the Airstream crowd with a ‘14 EB 27FB, picking up next week in Denver.

We learned a great deal through this forum, couldn’t be more pleased with our decisions and ready to continue to explore this great continent...

Hello from Colorado: You went through the decision process the correct way. You took the opportunity to "test camp" an Airstream of similar size to the one you have made a deal on. I believe you both will enjoy "comfortable traveling" very much. Airstreams aren't the biggest campers out their, but once your inside and seated, they are very comfortable, kinda like a business jet.

Welcome to the Airstream community. You gotta post some pictures of your new Airstream once you get settled with it.

David

I agree with David. You did it right by renting and trying before buying. You already know you like the lifestyle and the Airstream. Perfect!

Enjoy all your travels....in luxury!
