Legacy Airstream Owner - New Member

My 2019 Airstream International Signature 25RB is plugged into the same electrical outlet that my Father installed for his '56 18' owned from '57 thru '90.
(which will be upgraded soon to a 50/30/110 GE RV panel) I towed my little used Certified trailer (Maxine) home with my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Carbon Pro Duramax (Max), and it has yet to venture out into the world. I am still outfitting/system checking/studying systems prior to taking that first epic Airstream adventure. This forum has been very informative along with You Tube, manuals, and the Airstream Company and my AS Dealer, and friends, in my search for answers and solutions to the many issues that ownership of these modern marvels entails. I am looking forward to visiting many of the wonders in both the US and Canada, and also visiting family, some of whom I have never met. Making new friends along the way will be an added bonus.
Thank You and Cheers to all.

Hi Maxine-A and welcome.

Most folks set up and equip their Airstream and then for that very first epic journey... They do it in their back yard or driveway.

Makes it real easy to test every system and function and to get used to it all while only a few feet away from everything you forgot. And if it all goes feet up. You can say. Phooey! and go into the house and work out the kinks the next day.

BTW. Even after you hit the road and start adventuring. You will realize you forgot stuff or a system may go down.

Keep a sense of humor and a positive attitude and you will still have fun.

Cheers and enjoy!
