Learning how

Hello to everyone. My name is Ron and my wife's name is Janet but most call her Sue. We are from southwest Missouri, just a few miles southeast of Springfield, where you had your anniversary meet last summer. My wife says I've probably seen most of you even though I have'nt met you, either as we drove through the grounds looking at your beautiful trailers, or going in or out of Lambert's Restaurant (home of the throwed rolls). I'm kidding! Anyway, we sort of got into this through the back door. I have always been a car guy, but old Airstreams kind of go with old cars, so I bought this old 24 FT Argosy to stay in on construction work. Well, as it happened, I became disabled and had to quit working. We decided to take a trip in the Argosy to see if that type of travel would interest us. I had'nt done much towing, especially in the bigger towns. About 25000 miles of towing later, I think we're hooked! Bye for now. Ron and Sue

Hi Ron and welcome. I'm also a car guy and got into AS that way. Love the look and construction. I went the way of the motorhome. Really like the part of Missouri you're in. Good luck on your airstreaming. joe
