Just to prove I'm a Newbie...

Hello to all, yep, I've retired and we're considering an Airstream. Two questions, (to start with ), what's this Steamlite the dealer says he has on order ?, and can you get the panorama front windows on say 23/25 footers ? Thanks, and what a great site. Hope to get knowledgeable enough to take advantage of all this expertise .

The Stream-Lite is made by Gulfstream. It is a square trailer. The only really neat feature I see is that they use an aluminum tube in the walls. The downfall is that they have pine block "loaded" into the tube. I can only assume it is because it is aluminum tube and not all that rigid.
I hope that answers one of your questions.
Again, welcome to the forums.

Thank you, This dealer is listing the thing as an Airstream, but I didn't think so.

Greetings from the Southside. I would be interested in knowing which dealer you are talking to. You can PM me if you wish. Lots of folks from the Atlanta area on this site, so you're likely to get some good advise on dealers in the area (and there aren't many).

Lewster has the best idea, find a better dealer. Sounds like a salesman talking, not somebody knowledgeable about their product line.

Seahawk09,

Belated welcome to the forum! To answer your SECOND question ... Yes. The Classic and CCD lines (and some special edition Safari's) have the panorama front windows. There are both a 25' CCD and a 25' Classic.

Welcome to the forum. You do not need any knowledge to take advantage of the wisdom available here. I have been doing it for years.
