Just thinking about AS

I just registered and my introduction to everyone here is WOW, what a great site. I have been visiting w/great regularity trying to find a great AS to purchase and have seen many great options. I even used a great pic of one as a wallpaper for my desk top.

I have been playing "What if?", "What would it take?", "Where would I go?", and finally "Why?" To date my interest has been piqued, to say the least, and it is for that reason I have taken the next step and signed up as a new member to this site.

I won't bore you all further, but suffice it to say I am always observing from afar and don't say much unless I have something burning my britches. have a great AS day and enjoy. Done to a turn for now.

Hi Dave -

Your title describes how I spend a good deal of my time - just thinking about Airstreams! Welcome to the forums - there is a wealth of information here. The search tool (in the blue bar at the top of the screen) will be your friend as you do your research to determine whether or not you really want to jump into the world of Airstream ownership. Good luck!

Howdy

Hi Dave, Welcome!
I was kinda the opposite - I had my first A/S for about 5 years, then it got crunched and totalled by a truck. I found this site while researching my options related to replacement and insurance issues. I found a wealth of info here, along with a very helpful bunch of people with a wide range of opinions on any subject. The opinions don't always agree, nor do I, but I value the differing viewpoints.
Take care,
Dave

Welcome

Glad to have you aboard. Are you leaning toward any particular AS?

A/Ser's are the best of the best!

Welcome Dave!

My husband and I have been RVer's for quite a while. We use to oooh and aaah over the big rigs, now we could care less. Whenever we see one of them Square Ole Box (SOB) we are so thankful we have are A/S.

Good Luck, any model you choose will be perfect for you!
