Hi everyone! This site has been a lifesaver over the past year or so, and I finally decided to make myself official! We own a 1967 Airstream Caravel. This is my dream trailer and I lucked out finding it way before I thought I every would. It is all original and we are still learning about it (many thanks to everyone on this forum!).

We are in San Diego, California. Are there any groups here on the west coast that rally or go on shorter trips? We are interested in joining in.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you through here or in person!

Hi Deana! Welcome and congrats...your Airstream sounds awesome. I love the originals...but very hard to find these days. Many have been refurbished.

I lived in San Diego back in my younger days...I was stationed at North Island Naval Base. My son was born in Balboa Hospital there. Really enjoyed San Diego.

If you ever head east and cross through Texas give me a shout and I will give you some tips on things to do and where to stay.

Welcome to the group. You've acquired a great unit. May want to consider the TCT rally in May held at Pismo Beach. There will be a lot of vintage airstreams. We will not be bringing a trailer due to the waiting list. But, we will be there to see the trailers and meet the people. Enjoy the experience.
