I have a 1980 Excella II (31'). I aquired it in 2004 from a retired couple. It spent the majority of it's life in storage. It was not covered so the hot, dry Colorado summers have taken a toll on it. The inside just needs a lot of freshening up but I would like to put in nicer cabinets. I need to know what to use to get all of that sticky stuff off of the ceiling. I hope to be able to find a lot of resources and helps on this forum. I have just now begun working on the trailer.

I'm looking forward to communicating with everyone. It has been my life long dream to own an Airstream. Now here I am.

Welcome from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

Try a little mineral spirits on a small portion of the sticky stuff.

Thank you for the tip. I'll pick some up and see how it works.

Hi Isabellealle,

Welcome in.

There are lots of folks here that know an amazing amount of stuff about our Airstreams.

Use the search function on the upper right and ask as many questions as you want.

Good luck bringing your beauty back.
I'd rather be boon docking in the desert.

Yes, we have courtesy parking for you. About an hour North of Los Angeles.
