intro - looking for parts
Greetings to all, I'm new at this and came accross this site while looking for parts for our 77 6m Minuet. I'm not quite sure how to go about this but I'm going to wing it. I desperately need the plastic gliders for the lounge-bed at the end of the aluminum rails for the pull-out system. I live Fort St. John, that is in northeastern British Columbia. It is very hard to find places to get replacement parts and specifically for the Airstream/Argosy line. If you can help me out with this situation I surely would appreciate your help.
Thank you for your help in advance
Kindly, Harry Wuthrich

Hello Harry -- My avatar doesn't say it but I'm still an Argosy owner and know exactly what you're needing. I'm wondering if member, balrgn, still has these from a parts trailer he had. I'll PM him and ask him to look in here.

"wing it" heck you jumped in head first..... Welcome, and I hope someone can set you up with the parts you need. If they are out the - it's most likely that someone here knows where. Good Luck in your hunt, welcome again and post some pictures when you feel like it, we like those.
Happy Trails, Mike

Harry----Welcome to the forums. There is a wealth of tech info and experiences available here. There is a Barry, goes by Safari 57 I believe, who lives in Cloverdale, BC near Vancouver. Barry has a good handle on where to find things in the NW. Again, welcome.

If you can post the pictures on this thread I have a couple of folks I can also ask. There's one RV repair shop in Langley that I frequent as he's from the old school - he keeps everything he has ever removed from what he's working on. It's amazing the stuff we find. Often if he doesn't have it he will have a suggestion as to where to locate what we need, or how to build something that will do the job. Pictures, dimensions, and quantity needed would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Barry
