Would like to introduce ourselves.
Kristal and Karl.
We are new to travel trailers. After looking at various trailers for the last year, we kept coming back to Airstreams. Once we really decided on Airstreams, it was a matter of finding one that would fit our needs.
Our needs may be somewhat unique. I am a disabled veteran, serving from 1986 to 2007. Newly retired teacher due to disability and most recently diagnosed with M.S. My wife of 26 years, is now a retired graphic artist and transitioned to a new job as my fulltime caregiver. Our 2 children are grown and out of the house. We do have 4-legged children who will be traveling with us. They include 3 Black Labrador Retrievers, 1 rescued Australian Cattle Dog and 1 rescued Sheltie. Then we have to add Kristal's yarn makers: 1 English Angora rabbit, 1 rescued Lionhead/Angora mix rabbit and 1 rescued Lionhead rabbit.
After I had spent months and months looking & researching different Airstreams, my wife became impatient and took matters into her own hands. With in a week she found and negotiated our new-to-us home away from home. A 1979 31'
