Intro as an a/s owner in Texas
Just wanted to say Hi, as I have owned several RV's in my 45 years and recently had a 37' TT set up on a waterfront lot here in Texas, and after moving out of the city, the drive just became too long and ended up selling the trailer.
My wife and I started tent camping and then moved up to a pop up with a/c, which we loved. We had been considering another pop up, but I could not find anything that I really liked as I am somewhat picky about condition and how things have been cared for.
I on a whim saw an ad on CL for a 25' safari (1998) and originally thought it was a scam, but emailed the people and bought it on the spot. So needless to say, we now have an A/S. I have already removed the carpet, as the color was not to my liking and added laminate flooring and am in the process of having some curtains made that actually help block out some of the Texas sun and heat.
I love the site and have learned a great deal already about the trailer and really appreciate it.
