Our '99 25' Safari is going to be 22 years newer than any rig we've had. Our first little darlin' was a 1958 13' pull camper, then our 1973 Mitchell 5th wheel 23ft, followed by our 1977 Mitchell Class C 21ft, wow it's been a lot of renovating, sewing and fixing up and replacing, just about everything ... enjoyed it all and got the stories of the road to go with it.

Jim is stoked about having actual guages (no matter how persnickity) for water tank levels and Me? Well I've long yearned for a pink flamingo in my yard, much to the tut-tut's of the dear husband, and so that's what I am most excited about ...

We did originally post under JimNWen earlier this week, got some great ideas about ripping out our carpet and what type of flooring to install, just to update her look a wee bit.

Looking forward to making contact with WBCCI DenCO members at some point and hopefully attending a meeting or two, but as we're still employed for a good few years yet, long caravans will have to wait for retirement ...

So that's us in a nutshell ... for now anyways, not one to stay on the sideline and be quiet

Hooray for flamingos!

I'm doing flamingos in the bathroom - a stencil with a line of wading flamingos for the wall and roller shade, flamingo non-skid stickers in the shower, hopefully a flamingo shower curtain. The rest of the trailer interior is sort of subdued in wood tones and blues and greens. Not the bathroom.

Webspinner/Barbie/Mrs. Tin Pickle, that sounds very glamorous - hope you post pictures when it's done! I love renovation photos, I get loads of ideas that way. Have redone 2 campers now (SOB's), so feel I am ready to tackle the 'Queen of them All'. Hmmm, may have to get that Trailer Park Royalty decal after all ... Wendy

bwoodtx: Is that a great pyrenees as your profile picture? We have a Great P/English Setter mix - Roxie ... she's awesome! No cork flooring for us ... we'll go laminate I think.
