Howdy yall

Yea, Alabama - how did you know? My wife and I are disaster contractors, spending a lot of time on the road managing the movement of FEMA travel trailers and mobile homes and other FEMA activities. Have spent weeks at a time living in a RoadTrek 19' van and just purchased a sweet '79 29' Ambassador rear bath to improve our standard of living. Still cleaning and tweaking, but expect to have ready to use in a couple of weeks. Typically we will spend about 8 hours a day at the trailer bathing, preping daily reports, and maybe some of that time left over for sleep. We expect to leave the exterior alone - currently respectable complete and undented, if not dazzling, and to mod the interior incrementally to best fit our use. Already getting good ideas from this forum.

Welcome, and congrats on upgrading to an Airstream! Hope things work out well for you with your new Ambassador. Good idea to live with the trailer for now and then tweak it as you see the need. Glad to have you here, and look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome to the forums. It sounds like your Ambassador will serve you well for your type of work. I agree with Mel, living in it will naturally prioritize your needs. You'll finds tons of great information on the forums.
