If you are plannning on full-timing it the bigger the better. Tere really isn't anything at 3000 but close. Some of the older Bambis come in around 3500 but will cost you more than a 31'. Check you truck specs. Keep in touch!

My half ton is like no other.......by trade, I'm a heavy equipment field mechanic and the truck is built MARK tuff...........I pulled that 26' Avion (loaded 5000lbs) back from Az @ 70 mph and still got 11 mpg.........currently it has a 300 in tower of power six cylinder that's been hot rodded, backed up with a toploader 4 speed w/ 3.90 rearend.........It's either getting a Cummings or a full zoot 351W next time.
As I stated earlier, it was owned by a friend who committed suicide; he could not live with alcohol or without it.......I bought it at the gravesite after carrying his coffin............I've been sober for 26 1/2 years and was unsuccessful at introducing him to a new way of living..........Whenever I turn the ignition key on the truck, I am filled with gratitude..........there , but by the grace of God, goes I.
BTW, I help out a friend with a ranch........my truck has pulled a tandem axle trailer loaded down with 5 round bales of hay (12,000 lbs+ w/o trailer brakes).........It'll pull that load all day long @ 60 mph.
