Greetings from Colorado, formally from Minnesota. We lived in your lovely state for 27 years. Our son's met their sole mates and ended up moving to Colorado for their work. We pulled our Airstream across the windy great plains two or three times a year. I retired and I thought we'll show them, we'll just move here. We did and we love being close to them. You retire where your kids and grandkids are.
There are many Airstreamers from Minnesota here on the forums. Same with Colorado Airstreamers. I enjoy the vintage Airstream hobby in my retirement. I'm currently working on my son's 1969 Globetrotter 21'. I hope to make it a bit more functional and a bit more reliable.
My wife's folks bought a Limited 34' in 1986. They lived in Battle Lake, MN. They were in the Texas Airstream Harbor, Inc. Airstream park on Sam Rayburn lake every winter. From there they traveled from SanDiago to Florida Keys during the winter. We have their Limited now and enjoy traveling in it. Here is a photo of the trailer in the Minnesota Airstream Park. It is a great Airstream place. Lovely burr oaks all around the trailers.
You will enjoy your new Flying Cloud once it is delivered, which could be a long while.
David
