Hello everyone, My wife and I are half retired (me) and hope to do more traveling soon. We have two children too far away to visit easily so travel seems to be in our future. We are looking for a used Air Stream and will buy a tow vehicle in the nest year. Look forward to seeing some of you out in the real world.

Welcome to the forums. The East and west coasts always appear to have the most used trailers for sale, maybe we in the Midwest just hold on to things to long. You should be able to find something you like. A good way to start is to visit a rally in your area and get to know some of the other AS owners out there. I would also suggest Fred's Page to familiarize yourself with the different options and floor plans which are available.

Welcome to the forums and to retirement! It is the greatest thing we ever did! Love retirement, love the forum! Love our Airstream.

There is a nice thread on considerations for buying an airstream. Although much of it is geared for newer Airstreams many of the concepts will apply no matter what year your trailer will be! Get a cup of coffee and give it a read. It should get you to thinking!
