Hi Way Drive In meet

Hello I am a new member and I am currently restoring my 73' 31 footer . I was wondering if there would be any intrest in holding a gathering at my Drive in theatre . I own the Hi Way Drive In in carsonville MI . We are located 9 miles from lake Huron in the thumb of Michigan . If there is any intrest in this give me a call I think it would be a lot of fun. The drive in is a single screen, grass field drive in out in the country (very safe) the Great lakes are only 9 miles away .
Thanks Steve 810 650 5885
You can see the drive in online at Welcome to the Hi-Way Drive-In Web Site!
Take Care and happy traveling

Great idea! I love drive-in theaters (oops, am I showing my age?)! I have fond memories of going to drive-in's as a child in my parents station wagon.

BTW, the link you provided doesn't work -- page not found.

Wouldn't that make for some really cool pictures! We would love to come up for an event like that. My father in law lives in Brown City and it would be a great chance to get together with him. Then on the way home we could stop in Imlay City and get our Fantastic Fans. I love when I can multi task!

Thumbs up Wow sounds cool!!

Hey Steve,
That is so cool, what a great idea. I have gone past your drive in many times, had family in Pt Sanilac for years! How cool that an airstreamer owns it now!! Best of luck with your business!!
We'd be interested in a gathering if kids are welcome.

That would be really cool!! I know exactly where you are. I grew up in the thumb and I am always looking for a good (or bad) excuse to get up there. Have you checked out the Metro-Detroit forums thread? If you can you should join us all for that.

We grabbed a projector off of ebay just before Superbowl this year.
It is sitting on storage box in middle of 'asle'
They cannot replace your TV yet, as the bulb life is short, 2000 hrs +/-
So we just use it for special movies or events.
These things are dropping in price fast.
Lumens are the brighness guide.
This one is 3000 and is way overkill.
This is what it looks like, (this one is missing bulb) many other modles and brands just as good.
eBay: PROXIMA DP9280 DESKTOP LCD PROJECTOR FOR PARTS (item 170119039805 end time Jun-11-07 12:41:12 PDT)

2000 would be fine.
I suspect everyone will start getting these as price comes down and bulb life goes up.
They are simple to use, just need a flat surface...like a SOB

We had a good crowd by the third night for the showing of 1941 Tarzan's Secret Treasure.
