Hi from Prineville

Hi All

My Wife and I got our Airstream about 3-4 years ago. We're so happy to keep this piece of history alive. We've mostly been camping locally. We plan to restore our trailer, customizing as little as possible. Someday we plan to tour the US in it.

We didn't have much information that came with our trailer when we gleefully acquired it, but after doing some research on-line we found out we have a Cruiser! We were looking at the wrong model for a while because we were told we had a 22' trailer, and we never checked the length ourselves. After looking on the Vintage Airstream site, we finally found some trailers that looked like ours! They were all 25' in length. Guess what, so is ours!! We also learned that the first number in the serial number actually had a meaning, and that confirmed that we do in fact own a Cruiser. That knowledge makes it even that much more enjoyable to restore!

Congratulations and welcome, I have a cousin in your fine city on the east side of the Cascades.

Hi Michael, Welcome to the forums!
Enjoy your project, post photos as soon as you can. We all like photos, before and after are great. There are many threads here documenting various projects and their progress.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find there's a very active group of airstreamers in the NW and we regularly gather for rallys (par-tay!). We'll be glad to see you at one sometime!

Hi, and welcome. Lynn and I bought our fine '66 Tradewind up in Madras, Oregon. It appears that it's California home is the first from the original Ore. plates that came with it. Enjoy the Forums. I can't say of the wealth of help and camaradarie we have recieved through it. AND do attend the Rallys. They are great fun. Lynn and I did not think we were Rally types but we are converts now.
