Hi, From Arkansas

We have offically retired and would like to do some traveling before we get too old to enjoy it. Looking into buying an Airstream. Would like to know which would be the best.

That would depend on how much room you would need. Welcome come on in and look around. There are numerous posts that can help you decide. Use the search bar at the top and type in any subject or key word.

get over there and kick some tires, flop on some beds, loaf on some sofas; ya know what i mean?

great people who won't be pushy but will have lots to look over...new and used.

tell'em the guy in the "tilley hat" sent ya!

best way to find your perfect fit is to try'em on....

Hello Cathy and welcome to the forums. You have come to the right place and made a good decision to retire with an Airstream. Now do not let anyone talk you out of it. This is the season for the RV and Camper shows. That is a a way to see the different models and compare them side by side. Also you can really see the difference between an Airstream and a SOB. My wife and I sat in a new SOB trailer on a windy day and could not hear each other talk, we ended up buying a vintage Airstream and spending what the new SOB would have cost us but never regretted the decision. Another good place to look is on Fred's Page he has many of the trailers and motor homes with floor plans you can look at. Also there is a classified section both on his page and here on the forums.
Good luck in your search. You can also take advantage of the volunteers on the forum who are willing to look at an Airstream you want to purchase away from your area. You can find them through the search.
Here is the link for Fred's page.
