Hi everyone

Hi! We are new to the forum and are new to rving. We want to know if 11K is a good price for a '99 Bambi 19 foot trailer. It looks to be in great conditions, but with no upgrades....just a basic model with low usage and looks very clean. Any suggestions?

Sounds almost too good...

I'd check to see if the following may have occured =
1) It's not salvage. Also, are you living close to a flood area? Check for mold, waterlines in the back of cabinets, etc.
2) Stolen
3) Is this an Ebay trailer? Beware! (search ebay fraud)
4) if it really is on the up and up, buy it QUICK! YOU will be stealing it!

Welcome to the Forums. There's a lot of godd information here.

If all is as it appears, that's a good price for for a Bambi of the vintage. Bambis usually go high and fast. Make sure to check all the items previously mentioned. Have the prior owners title checked by the Highway Patrol or State Police prior to handing over any money. Bogus titles are more common than you would think.

Thanks for the's a little scary buying over the was a trade-in to a nonAirstream dealer. Previous owner purchased and stored it for two years without using it. I think he got it for a great price and we've got it for as low as he'll go. We spoke on the phone to the dealer and it sounds really look great and purchase will be conting. on our visual. The dealer says they guar. that all is in good working order as well. I'm so excited!!!but didn't want to let emotions dictate the thanks for all your advice.

Good luck on the Bambi! If it all turns out well and good ~ we will all be jealous!

To be on the safe side I would put a down payment down, drive to pick it up before you pay the rest... inspect and double check... if it is a legit seller they shouldn't have trouble with that!
