Hello, Newbe here from Norcal

My wife and i purchased an old 73 Tradewind. It had been parked for over 10 years however new appliances, AC, brakes, and tires were installed just as it was parked. My son and i removed no less than 100 live wasp nests from every outside crevis. She is getting a new interior restoration by the wife and sons, and i have been Polishing like mad. We are hoping for the maden voyage in April, but no later than Mid June for the bluegrass festival in Grass Valley Ca. It has been a blast so far. Thank God for Inland RV

Welcome. New 10 year old tires are old tires. I wouldn't risk much freeway speeds until you replace them.

thanks everyone. pictures will be posted soon if i can figure out how to. This restoration is very much a family project with my wife and two grown sons. I am the first to join the forum now that we are making progress.

I am getting tired of polishing though :-(

You are close enough to join us this summer. Think about it and sign up. Trust me, get new tires though. Hope to see you and your family.
