Hello! I'm new

Hello!
My name is Ruth and I own a 1959 Airstream. I think she is a Flying Cloud. My late husband bought her for me as a birthday gift, 7 years ago for $600. Her original intent was to be an art studio. Many, many things have change for me in the past 7 years and now she is on her way to be my camping girl. She is gutted but solid. I finally have a floor plan worked out but I am totally stumped as where to start!
Thank you so much for allowing me to join!
Airstream ❤️

Ruth welcome, she sounds lovely.

You came to the right place. Start reading everything it will start making sense.

These are the friendliest folks ever. Most have Airstreams and they want you to be a successful fellow streamer. They'll share all their good advice and knowledge.

You could start your own thread here with your own unique title and year and model number. Post your floorplans ideas and some picture and they'll start chiming in with ideas and thoughts.

Ruth, welcome to the forum! Sorry for the loss of your husband. There are a few of us in your same category, unfortunately.

Wow, a 1959! Vintage! Look on the vintage club and restore threads. I'm sure you will find so much information. Do you plan on DIY? Or have someone else do it. Whichever way you go....good luck on your journey. Have fun! Evelyn.

Warm welcome from us to you! Remember the only bad question around here is one that isn't asked.
